One important update: Frye’s Leap Cafe
We did not include Frye’s Leap Cafe on the dog-friendly list. Although one community member remembered dogs being allowed during outdoor service, a more recent reply reported that dogs have not been permitted at the cafe since its renovations and upgrades.
That kind of change is exactly why it is worth confirming every restaurant’s policy before arriving with your dog.
A local dog treat for later
Lickity Paws is a Maine-based dog ice cream company mentioned by a community member. It is not a restaurant recommendation, but it may be a fun locally made treat to look for during your trip.
