Join Presumpscot Regional Land Trust volunteer and certified Appalachian Mountain Club trip leader Natalie Skovran for a fall-foliage hike through Mill Brook Preserve.

This moderate but rugged hike will cover at least six miles at an average pace of 1.5–2 mph. The central section connecting the northern and southern parts of the preserve crosses steep hills above Mill Brook. After hiking three miles to the Frank C. Knight crossing and stopping for a snack, the group will decide whether to continue to the southern trailhead or return.

The hike leaves from the preserve’s Northern Trailhead at the intersection of Methodist Road and Route 302. If the trailhead lot is full, additional parking is available nearby at Lenny’s Pub.

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The hike is not recommended for young children unless they will ride in a backpack carrier. Attendance is free, but advance registration is required.
